Beyond Homeless Thrift Store

Supporting the mission of Beyond Homeless Inc., the recently renovated Beyond Homeless Boutique and Thrift Store offers new and gently-used merchandise for sale to the public and provides clothing and household items to families in need at no charge. Present for the recent ribbon cutting are (from left) Beau Battin, Board President Travis Linneweber, Putnam County Chamber Executive Director Brian Cox, Beyond Homeless Executive Director Lea Durbin, Joel Everson, Donna Walker, Alice Greenburg and Nicole Schutter. “At Beyond Homeless, we believe that safe, decent, affordable housing, adequate food, education and quality social services are a fundamental right,” the organization said in a release. “We empower the homeless and families at risk of becoming homeless in the Putnam County Region to become self-sufficient and independent by offering programs and services that provide safe sleeping space for individuals experiencing homelessness, or assist individuals and families at risk of homelessness through our Homeless Prevention Program.”
