Battling Messes in Putnam County

Monday, January 18, 2021
There’s a new Marshall in town and he’s cleaning up Putnam County. Tyler and Danielle Marshall recently purchased and took over operations at Service Master of Greencastle. After 32 years with ServiceMaster, Ed Lattanzio has hung up his holster of cleaning tools. The Marshalls, both Putnam county natives, assumed ownership Aug. 1 and more recently moved the operation to 1001 Bloomington St., the complex at the southeast corner of Bloomington Street and Veterans Highway. With a slogan of “battling messes in Putnam County head on,” their hope is to maintain and grow the business after taking over from Lattanzio. “We plan to keep things the way Ed kept them. Nothing changes but the owner,” Danielle Marshall said. “And try to grow where we can,” Tyler added. It’s also worth noting that Lattanzio has no intention of taking down the marquee in front of his Indianapolis Road location, where the creative comments will continue. Present for the recent Putnam County Chamber ribbon cutting are (from left) Chamber Board Member Beau Battin; Howard and Cheryl Thomas; Danielle, Kamden, Tyler and Harper Marshall, Chamber Director Brian Cox; and Vicki and Shawn Stewart. Service Master can be reached at 653-9161.
