Iris J. Presley

Iris J. Presley, 70, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021.

Born June 29, 1950 in Muncie, she was the daughter of Jess Thomas and Edna Opal (Tackett) Hiles.

She was a graduate of John Marshall High School.

Iris was a homemaker. She was a prayer warrior for God and loved telling everyone about Jesus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth R. Presley; and brothers, Russel F. and Jewel Thomas Hiles.

Iris is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Joshua) Smith; sister Saundra K. (Douglas) Smith; brother Donald (Paulada) Hiles; grandchildren Mackenzie (Lewis Minton Jr) Smith and Mataya Smith; great-grandchild Lucas Minton; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Donnie Gay officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
