Described as a state-of-the-art facility and an investment for the Greencastle and DePauw University communities, the new Old National Bank branch near the courthouse square was officially unveiled Monday morning.

Present for the ribbon-cutting ceremony are (from left) Old National President Jim Sandgren, Community Banking Executive Monica Phillips, Bank Manager Cara Goodin, Putnam County Chamber Executive Director Brian Cox, Mayor Bill Dory, Putnam Circuit Court Judge Matthew Headley, Old National CEO Jim Ryan and Culture and Social Responsibility Officer Kathy Schoettlin.

Beforehand, Sandgren and Goodin present two $1,000 donations to (from second from left) Patricia Modlin of the Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry and Lisa Miller and Ruth Myers of Phil the Need.

    As an ONB customer, I would like to know why I am paying fees to employ someone as the "Culture and Social Responsibility Officer"?
