Putnam County Youth Soccer Sign-ups Begin; Community Involvement Needed

Friday, March 12, 2021

The spring 2021 Recreation League is in full swing and sign-ups are just starting. If you have a child that would like a good head start on a fun, lifelong sport or are a parent or community member that would love to get involved further in the youth development in the community then the Putnam County Youth Soccer spring Recreation league is a great place to start.

The PCYSA Recreation League focuses on the fun, instructional aspects of soccer providing young athletes with coaches who look to help them grow in the sport and to most importantly have fun!

The community needs you, the parents, teachers, community members, and community leaders to help by stepping in, applying for board positions, and playing a critical role in the future of the Putnam County Youth Soccer Association as this may be the last year the Putnam County Youth Soccer Association will run. The PCYSA is looking for new board members to apply and to help contribute to the kids and community.

Whether you are new in the community or a long time resident, first time board member participant or a seasoned board member participant, the Putnam County Youth Soccer Association greatly appreciates your help to keep soccer alive here in Putnam County. Any and all questions about the forms, available board positions, and the 2021 season can be emailed to pcysarecreationleague@gmail.com.

If you are interested in signing your child up for the spring season, registration will close on March 27th with the first week of practices starting the week of April 5th. Children born between 2007 and 2017 are eligible to sign-up and the cost will be $65 and forms can be filled out online under the “Recreational Spring 2021 Registration” tab. The schedule for the spring can be found on the Putnam County Youth Soccer Association website www.pcysa.com under Rec Soccer tab.
