Michael Lane Hamilton

Michael Lane Hamilton, 69, of Bainbridge, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Michael was born in Orrville, Ohio, the son of Paul and Fern (Butzer) Hamilton.

He was a 1969 graduate of Bainbridge High School.

Mr. Hamilton proudly served in the United States Army as a military police correction specialist. He owned and operated Mike Hamilton Construction Company and was the manager of Black Lumber Company for several years until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Hamilton; three children, Eric Hamilton (Lacey), Kelly Wilson (Brad) and Adam Hamilton (Jessica); siblings Paul Jr., Samuel, Thomas, Gerald and Linda Hamilton; and five grandchildren, Kenley, Maddox, Toby, Luke and Ellie.

His kids and grandkids were his life. He loved them so much.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Laura Lunsford.

At his request, there will be no visitation or service. A cremation will take place at a later date.

“Get some rest sweet man, we’ll take it from here. No more pain for my best friend, I love you beyond words.”
