Louis Lynn Baldwin

Louis Lynn Baldwin, 78, of Greencastle, previously of Cloverdale and Quincy, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021.

Louis was born on Dec. 26, 1942 in Greencastle to the late Richard and Leatha Smith Baldwin.

Louis was married to Sharon Kay Fowler Baldwin on April 11, 1992.

He was employed as a bearing grinder for 41 years at Link-Belt (Rexnord), retiring in 2003. Louis was a member of the Quincy Baptist Church and a veteran of the Indiana National Guard.

Louis enjoyed genealogy and the Civil War. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Society of Indiana Pioneers, Civil War Roundtable-Greencastle, past president of the Greencastle Coin Club and the Link-Belt Bearing Division Breakfast Club.

Louis is survived by his wife Sharon Kay Baldwin; children Richard Baldwin (Gloria) and Amanda Baldwin; stepchildren Marty Edwards (Tracy) and Anthony Edwards (Kimberly); five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in passing by his parents Richard Baldwin and Leatha Baldwin Hart, husband Amos.

Services for Louis will be Friday, May 28, at 2 p.m. at the Quincy Baptist Church, with Pastor Marilyn Culler officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from noon until the hour of service at the church. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Mannan Cemetery.
