Allen Dale Wilson

Allen Dale Wilson, 64, of Poland, passed away on Monday, Aug. 2, 2021 at his residence.

Allen was born in Greencastle on June 15, 1957, the son of William Riley and Mary Helen (Miller) Wilson.

He was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mr. Wilson was an over-the-road truck driver for 36 years. He owned and operated his truck and also contracted with Lone Star Trucking.

He was a former member of Moose Lodge 1592 in Greencastle.

Allen loved to fish.

Survivors include his daughter, Nicki Wilson (wife Melody) of Brazil; a son, Lance Partin (wife Yvonne) of Putnamville; a brother, Ed Wilson (wife Fran) of Arizona; nine grandchildren, Mika Hayes (wife Chelesa), Mariah Fikes (husband Tyler), Shyonna Partin (husband Michael), Chyann Rivera, Lia Partin, Caleb Robinson, Drexel Partin, Gryer Partin and Zayvin Partin; six great-grandchildren; his companion, Rebecca Wilson; the mother of his daughter, Candice Childress; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Max Wilson.

The family will plan a memorial service at a later date.
