Space to Run

Members of the Baker family and the Putnam County Humane Society celebrated the addition of new dog runs at Animal Care of Putnam County Saturday morning. Present for the occasion are (from left) Carl Spencer, Adalyn Harris, Cheryl Spencer, Humane Society board members Jo MacPhail and Maureen Wagner, Humane Society Past President Sandra Grimes, Animal Control Officer Terry Eastham, Nora Baker, Diana Baker, Tracy Robertson, Tom Fowler, Crystal Heimes and Bruce Heimes.

The project was a collaboration with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office to honor the late Steven Baker, who is memorialized with a plaque located near the enclosure.
