Putnam County Park Board seeking input on five-year plan

Monday, September 13, 2021

The Putnam County Park Board will hold three sessions in October for the community to provide ideas about needs and wants for Putnam County’s park spaces.

A team from Purdue University will lead the sessions through its Enhancing the Value of Public Spaces program to create county-wide outdoor recreation goals. These goals will guide a five-year plan the Park Board, Friends of the Park of Putnam County, Putnam County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Putnam Parks and Pathways can pursue.

The first session will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, Oct. 5 from 6-8 p.m. The next two will be held at the York Automotive Community Building at the Putnam County Fairgrounds on Thursday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m.-noon and from 6-8 p.m., respectively.
