Ruby A. Neier

Ruby A. Neier, age 98, Avon, formerly of Coatesville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021 at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.

She was born in Mt. Meridian, the daughter of Noble and Mary A. Hill Allee.

Ruby graduated from Belle Union High School and worked for many years as a registered nurse at Hendricks County Hospital.

She was married to the Rev. Malcolm Neier, and he preceded her on July 18, 2005.

She worked with her husband and supported him in his ministry. She was a active member of the Coatesville Missionary Baptist Church and was very much the matriarch of the church.

She is survived by her children, Noble Neier and wife, Sue, Coatesville, Ann Magee and husband, Max, California, and Russell Neier and wife, Cheryl, Coatesville; eight grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Monday, Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. at Walnut Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Brian Harr officiating.
