Willena June Sims

Willena June Sims, 64, of Spencer, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 at her residence.

Born May 10, 1957 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan Orlando and Louisa E. (Coffer) Lewis.

Willena was a 1977 graduate of Greencastle High School. She married Doug Sims on Oct. 25, 2002 in Spencer.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, bingo and assisting new mothers with anything they needed. She was a member of McCormick’s Creek Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her husband, Doug; three sons, Adam (Miranda) Williamson, Lance (Holy) Williamson and Doug Sims Jr.; four daughters, Crystal Morgan, Jennifer Marie (Richard) Pfifer, Kathy (Sean) Staggs and Samantha (Phil) Westridge; a sister, Norvella Williams; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.
