Donald Wayne Flint

Donald Wayne Flint, 90, of Greencastle passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022 at Independence Village in Fishers.

Donald was born in Greencastle on June 16, 1931, the son of Herbert and Elizabeth Mae (Terry) Flint.

He was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mr. Flint worked at IBM for more than 30 years until it closed. He then worked at Humphrey’s Small Engine Repair until his retirement.

He was a 65-year member of Greencastle Masonic Lodge, and attended Long Branch Christian Church.

Survivors include his three children, L. Diane Baker, Craig Flint and Kent Flint (wife Stephanne); five grandchildren, Ryan Garl, Alyssa Flint, Hannah Flint, Keaton Flint and Bryant Flint; a niece and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn June Flint; a brother, Jack Flint; and a sister Betty Dunn.

Services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor Scott Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until time of service on Friday.
