Chester Skeen Jr.

Chester Skeen Jr., 74, unexpectedly passed away on April 30, 2022.

Chester was born on Feb. 16, 1948 to Dawson C. and Toledo Skeen in Norton, Va.

Chester worked at the Noble Center for many years, where he was well known and loved by many. He would bring his dog Max to work with him to help bring a smile to all he interacted with throughout his day.

Chester was preceded in death by his parents and brother Warren.

Survivors include his children, Scott (Chastity) and Matthew (Michelle) Skeen, sisters Brenda Skeen and Rebecca (Mark) Berner, several grandchildren and many friends who have become family over the years.

A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. on June 18 at Putnamville Church of Christ, 763 West U.S. 40, Greencastle.
