Michael Games, 63, of Bainbridge, passed away Friday morning, July 15, 2022 at Countryside Meadows in Avon.

He was born on May 3, 1959 to the late Kenneth and Shirley (Rapp) Games.

On Jan. 5, 1996, he married Sandra (Droddy) Games. She passed away on Nov. 23, 2021.

Michael graduated from North Putnam High School with the class of 1978. He worked for Crawford Industries and then International Automotive Components for 25 years.

Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, working on anything and being with his family and friends.

He served on the Bainbridge Volunteer Fire Department for nearly 30 years, where he earned the rank of captain.

Mike was one of the hardest-working, strongest-fighting and most caring individuals you would meet.

He is survived by his siblings, Terry Games, Mary Games, Bruce Games, Jeff Games, Susan (Barry) Tharp and Kathy (Brian) Curry; stepchildren Christopher and Lonnie Jones; and several nieces and nephews and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; nieces Megan Games and Nickie Moore; and nephew Richard Curry.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 20 at Roachdale Christian Church, 1 N. Walnut St., Roachdale, IN 46172, with Pastor Phil Barns officiating. Burial will follow in New Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 19 at the church.

Memorial contributions in Mike’s memory may be made to the Bainbridge Volunteer Fire Department.
