County Jail

Seven people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Thursday

• At 3:44 a.m. Jesse A. Hilbert, 19, Cloverdale, was housed at the jail for driving while intoxicated.

Wednesday

• At 9:50 a.m. Aron J. Monnett, 38, Cloverdale, was booked in on a warrant for probation violation.

Tuesday

• At 6:47 p.m. Adrian B. Fisher, 31, Fillmore, was lodged at the jail for driving with an ACE of .08 or more.

• At 5:08 p.m. Amanda M. Barrett, 37, Indianapolis, was taken into custody for driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction.

• At 3:37 p.m. Clement E. Lady, 64, Fillmore, was housed at the jail for battery, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

• At 3:34 p.m. Tracey W. Burk, 53, Reelsville, was booked in for resisting law enforcement and driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction.

Monday

• At 11:17 p.m. Stacey L. Northington, 32, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail for battery resulting in bodily injury and criminal mischief.

City Police

One arrest was reported recently by Greencastle City Police officers:

• At 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Michael Travioli, 57, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Justin Herd.

Taken in custody at a North Locust Street residence, Travioli was lodged in the Putnam County Jail on a pair of Putnam County warrants, both carrying an original charge of driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to three incidents since Tuesday afternoon:

• At 2:56 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD was dispatched to Kissinger House on the DePauw University campus for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 2:59 and found that the alarm was activated by a pull station. The alarm system was reset. GFD went back into service at 3:05 p.m.

• At 4:18 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD was dispatched to the Putnam County Jail for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 4:22 and found that a water flow alarm was activated, but found nothing wrong. Maintenance was called to fix the alarm system, and GFD went back into service at 5:05 p.m.

• At 10 a.m. on Wednesday, GFD was dispatched to Delta Upsilon at DePauw for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 10:05 and found that a detector was faulty and needed replaced. GFD went back into service at 10:19 a.m.

Additionally, GFD performed nine medical assists and had one disregard during this timeframe.
