Larry James Thompson

Larry James Thompson, 74, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

Larry was born in Greencastle on July 18, 1948, the son of Lawrence and Princess (Stone) Thompson.

He was a graduate of Turkey Run High School. He attended Indiana State University.

Mr. Thompson worked for more than 14 years in maintenance at Wal-Mart. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed music, fishing and flowers.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Thompson; his son, Jason Thompson; two brothers, Joe Thompson and Lee Thompson; a sister, Ucie Kraft; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

At his request there will be no visitation or services.
