Extension offering virtual invasive species program

Monday, September 12, 2022

Purdue Extension will offer a virtual program dedicated to invasive species on Monday evenings from Sept. 26-Nov. 7 (except Oct. 31).

The program will focus on learning about different invasive species of insects, plants and fish in home landscaping, forests and aquatic systems, and which natural species they can be replaced with.

Each session will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The cost is $10 and registration must be made by Sept. 21.

Those interested may send their name, phone number and an email address along with checks payable to Purdue Extension-Vigo County, 275 Ohio St., Terre Haute, IN 47807. A link will be emailed upon receipt of the registration fee. Recordings will also be made available.

Those with questions may contact Extension Educator Tabitha Flinn at 812-462-3371 or carroll@purdue.edu.
