For Faith, Hope and Love

Supporting efforts to expand its capacity and service in northern Putnam County, Gleaners Food Bank awarded two separate grants totaling $54,442.12 to the Faith, Hope and Love Food Pantry at Lifespring Church. Present for a check presentation recently are (from left) volunteer Joanann Bay, Gleaners Local Service Manager Sloan Lewis, volunteers Jonathan Hill, Becky Peterson, Cody Storkman, Tam Hill, Becky Swinehart, Lori Herbert and Kathy Moore, pantry director Elaine Boruff, volunteers Kyle Boruff, Pearl Taylor, Chris Herbert and Gail Gross, Pastor Tommy Sandefer and volunteer Tasha Brewer-Storkman. Volunteers not pictured are Braylin and Mia Boruff. The majority of the funds will go toward a new cargo van and coolers, while the remainder will be for a new extension to the existing pantry building with shelving and refrigeration.
