Ollie Dawson Klein

Ollie Dawson Klein, 10, of Coatesville, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022.

He was born May 25, 2012 in Danville to his parents David and Kimberly (Brown) Klein.

Ollie was a resident of Greencastle for most of his life.

Ollie is survived by his mother, Kimberly Klein of Coatesville; his father, David Klein of Greencastle; one sister, Kadence Klein; grandparents: Ronda and Richard Adams, Daniel and Teresa Brown, Cindy and Steve Wall, and Mike and Lora Klein; great-grandmother Marjorie Longsworth; great-grandfather Bud Klein and his wife; and also several cousins, aunts and uncles.

Ollie was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Stephen Longsworth, Ollie and Faye Brown and Lois Cherry.

Ollie attended Bainbridge Elementary School. He was in the youth group at Hazelwood Christian Church.

Ollie loved to play baseball and played for the North Putnam Youth Baseball League. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. Ollie loved to play video games with his cousins and friends.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 at Hazelwood Christian Church in Hazelwood. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:30 a.m. following visitation on Friday, Nov. 18 at the church.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.

Memorial contributions may be made in Ollie’s memory to the North Putnam Youth Baseball League.
