• At 8:15 a.m. on Monday, Tanner S. Dunn, 30, Greencastle, was northbound on U.S. 231, attempting to go up Waterworks Hill in a 2006 Dodge Durango.

The vehicle slid off the east side of the road first, but he was able to get it back onto the roadway. It then started sliding the other direction, crossing the southbound lane and ending up in the ditch on the west side of the road, facing west.

The vehicle had to be towed, but Dunn was not injured.

Sutherlin estimated damage at $1,000-$2,500.
