Crash on U.S. 231 South

Greencastle firefighters secure one of two vehicles which were involved in a crash at the entrance to Owl Ridge Event Center on U.S. 231 South Tuesday afternoon. The sedan was attempting to turn left into the entrance when it collided with the northbound SUV, which went into the ravine as the sedan spun. Apart from complaints of pain, none of the occupants in either vehicle were seriously injured or transported otherwise by Putnam County EMS. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office directed traffic, while Trimble Towing retrieved both vehicles.
