Remembering Those Lost

With the balmy weather Sunday a stark contrast to the chaos that rocked Coatesville 75 years ago, Washburn Chapter DAR member Sharon Ellett reads the names of the 14 residents who died in the wake of the devastating tornado that swept through the area on March 26, 1948.

Meanwhile, a wreath stands at the memorial dedicated to victims of the tornado at the corner of Milton and Hadley streets.
