Cincinnati Circus to headline Second Saturday this weekend

Second Saturday will return to South Indiana Street in Greencastle again this Saturday.

Second Saturday, Greencastle’s free, family-friendly event returns this weekend with a circus show.

An aerial artist and juggler will be coming all the way from Cincinnati to entertain kids and parents alike. Plus, this year’s Second Saturday has an entirely new format to help families enjoy the evening.

Bounce houses, free popcorn, snow cones and other fair games will be available starting at 6 p.m., followed by the evening’s main entertainment at 6:30 p.m.

Cincinnati Circus is a leader in outdoor events for families, and the aerial artist will be a true crowd pleaser. But don’t forget the juggler, who will keep the crowd laughing. All of it will be done by 8 p.m., just in time for bedtime.

Second Saturday is made possible by the generosity of Andy and Susan Lorimer of Big Bounce Fun House Rentals and support from Greencastle Presbyterian Church.

This year, organizers are looking for even more opportunities to connect with other groups and churches in the community. June’s Second Saturday will give us a great chance to do so, with a partnership with Recovery Raw on Saturday, June 10 for its family-friendly event that will give support to The Isaiah 1:17 Project.
