Big Walnut Water announces boil order

Due to a water main break, Big Walnut Water customers on County Road 300 West and West Walnut west of County Road 300 West are being placed on a boil water advisory.

Crews have water restored already, but this is just precautionary. The customers is this area are being asked to follow the following instructions.

It is recommended that all cooking and drinking water be brought to a complete boil for five minutes before using. Continue to boil all cooking and drinking water until being notified that it is no longer necessary.

Big Walnut Water officials appreciate the cooperation of customers during this time and will provide updates as necessary until the drinking water problem has been solved.
