Pair of local college students awarded grants-in-aid by DKG

Reghan Christy was recently awarded a $500 Recruitment Grant-in-Aid by Cheryl Steuerwald on behalf of Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma. Christy is attending Huntington University with a major in elementary education and special education.

Epsilon Chapter also awarded a $500 Recruitment Grant-in-Aid to Gayle Baugh, who is majoring in in elementary education and special education at Vincennes University. Baugh was unable to attend the award program.

Epsilon Chapter awards the Recruitment Grant-in-Aid each year to women who graduated from a Putnam County high school and are sophomores or juniors who are pursuing degrees in education. Applications are due Feb. 28 of each year.
