Road closures set for 4-H fair parade

Multiple streets in Greencastle will be closed for the Putnam County 4-H Fair Parade this Sunday.

The parade is to be under way by 2 p.m. As such, the following streets will close at noon and reopen at the conclusion of the parade:

• East Washington Street, from Percy L. Julian Drive to Wood Street;

• Wood Street, from Washington Street to Seminary Street; and

• All of Gardenside, Hammond and Stadium streets.

Meanwhile, traffic on U.S. 231 will be re-routed at Veterans Memorial Highway to Jackson Street at 1:30 p.m., thus limiting access to surrounding roads.

Additionally, there is to be no parking on either side of Washington Street.
