Charlotte Kay Burnham

Charlotte Kay Burnham, 85, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023.

Born May 5, 1938 in Colfax, Ind., the daughter of Golden and Margaret R. (Carpenter) Miller.

She was a 1956 graduate of Fillmore High School and graduate of Ivy Tech in 1970.

She married DeWayne Burnham on March 5, 1957.

Charlotte was an administrative secretary with the South Putnam School Corporation for 32 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Joseph W. Burnham.

Charlotte is survived by her sons, Gary (Sally) Burnham and Michael (Terri) Burnham; a sister, Barbara Costin; a brother, Rocky Miller; grandchildren Heather (Jeremiah) Wagoner, Christopher Burnham, Sarah (Matt) Haltom, Erika Burttschell and Samantha Moeckel and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7.

Burial will follow at the Putnamville Cemetery.
