S.R. 236 closing near Danville for culvert

DANVILLE — State Road 236 will close on or after Aug. 15 for a box culvert replacement project.

The construction is set to take place between State Road 39 and County Road 200 North near Danville.

The closure will last through mid-November, weather permitting.

The official detour follows State Road 75 to U.S. 36 to State Road 39 and back.

This contract was awarded to Crackers Demo for $2 million. It also involves a box culvert replacement project on State Road 39, a bridge replacement project on U.S. 136 and terminal joint patching along U.S. 36.
