A longtime local tradition returns to the Greencastle Masonic Lodge on Friday, Oct. 6.

Temple Lodge 47 F&AM will host a fish fry from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at the lodge, 118 E. Washington St.

The menu will again feature North American cod hand-breaded on site, onion rings, hush puppies, cole slaw, baked beans, homemade desserts, soft drinks and water.

Dine-in or carry-out options are available.

As always, proceeds from the event will go toward upkeep of the lodge.

“We’re just trying to keep our historic building up and running and in the downtown building, where it belongs,” lodge member Ed Wilson said.

Food will be served until 8 p.m. or when it runs out.

  • The lodge is an interesting building, looks like it has a 3rd floor but no windows. Did the county look into it as a possible annex?
