Extension, clerk to host program on running for office

Anyone who has ever considered running for local government office is welcome to join Purdue Extension and the Putnam County Clerk’s Office to learn more about the process for running for local office, requirements and positions up for election in 2024.

Set for Tuesday, Jan. 9, the program is conducted in collaboration with the county clerk, local political parties and other past elected officials to create a community of local political knowledge and participation.

The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building, 191 N. U.S. 231, Greencastle.

There is no cost for this workshop.
