Narcan Box Moved to Van Bibber Lake

In the interest of meeting a need in the community, peer recovery coach in training Nick Smith installs an opioid rescue kit at the Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Department recently. The kit housed at the Putnam County Public Library was not being utilized since it had been moved indoors. After consulting with Greencastle Police Department Capt. Charles Inman, the Putnam County Recovery Coalition chose to move the kit to Van Bibber Lake. The kit, which contains a dose of naloxone, can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.
