County Jail

Several people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Thursday

• At 4:10 a.m. Rashelle K. Daugherty, 41, Reelsville, was booked in on a local warrant.

• At 3:47 a.m. Rafiki B. Howard, 49, Lafayette, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

Wednesday

• At 4:37 p.m. Kari J. Drew, 48, Linton, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

• At 3:43 p.m. Indy J. Evens, 56, Fillmore, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 2 p.m. James J. Campbell, 44, Fillmore, was booked in for failure to register as a sex offender and on a local warrant.

Tuesday

• At 11:25 p.m. Carrie N. Mitchell, 34, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 1:52 p.m. Joshua C. Stock, 36, Rosedale, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

Sunday

• At 2:04 a.m. Deanna L. Ferguson, 27, Greentown, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

Saturday

• At 2:57 p.m. Kathy S. Weddle, 47, Fillmore, was booked in on a local warrant.

City Fire

Greencastle firefighters responded to five incidents between Sunday and Thursday.

• At 4:36 p.m. on Sunday, GFD was dispatched to Bishop Roberts Hall, 807 S. College Ave., for a fire alarm. Arriving at 4:38 p.m., determining that the system was activated due to cooking. Crews reset the alarm and went back into service at 4:44 p.m.

• At 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, firefighters were called to a complaint of a large outside fire in the area of 400 N. CR 75 West. Crews could not initially locate the fire and were directed to the area of the fairgrounds. They eventually found a homeowner who was having an outside fire, but determined there was not an issue. GFD returned to service at 6:43 p.m.

• At 4:34 p.m. on Monday, fire crews were called to a fire alarm at Ascena, 1901 E. S.R. 240. Arriving at 4:33 p.m., they determined there was an issue with the alarm panel. A staff member arrived and said the alarm company would be contacted. Firefighters returned to service at 5:12 p.m.

• At 7:44 p.m. on Wednesday, GFD was called to an alarm at Rescare, 1306 Bloomington St. Upon arrival, the alarm had already been rest by staff, and crews returned to service at 7:52 p.m.

• At 6:47 a.m. on Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm at 105 W. Hanna St. Arriving at 6:51 a.m., they were unable to determine a cause of the activation. They reset the system and returned to service at 6:58 a.m.

In addition, GFD also responded to 11 medical runs, and was once disregarded en route.
