County Jail

Fifteen people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Thursday

• At 5:28 a.m. Brooke L. King, 31, Rockville, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 5:09 a.m. Melissa D. Clark, 52, Terre Haute, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

• At 12:21 a.m. Christopher N. Cornelius, 34, Greencastle, was housed at the jail for driving while intoxicated.

• At 12:06 a.m. Shelby T. Crosley, 26, Brazil, was booked in on an out-of-county warrant.

Wednesday

• At 11:40 p.m. William S. Pierce, 47, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 8:56 p.m. Travis A. Clay, 28, Indianapolis, was taken into custody for criminal trespass and invasion of privacy.

• At 11 a.m. Tremayne Terry, 48, Indianapolis, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 9:26 a.m. Leah J. Parker, 36, Greencastle, was booked in on a local warrant.

• At 4:56 a.m. Robert H. Yost, 41, Gosport, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

Tuesday

• At 5:41 p.m. Brandon L. Sanders, 34, North Little Rock, Ark., was taken into custody on a local warrant.

• At 2:39 p.m. Lance A. Lindley, 46, Danville, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 11:11 a.m. Terrie J. Crabtree, 58, Cloverdale, was booked in on a writ of body attachment.

• At 10:58 a.m. Sharon L. Ingle, 39, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

Monday

• At 9:10 p.m. Saleena S. Cooper, 26, Cloverdale, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

• At 3:04 p.m. Steve A. Strandberg, 42, Indianapolis, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to three incidents between Sunday and Thursday:

• At 9:01 p.m. on Monday, GFD was dispatched to Humbert Hall at DePauw University for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 9:12 and did not determine a cause for the alarm. The alarm system was reset. GFD went back into service at 9:20 p.m.

• At 3:35 p.m. on Wednesday, GFD was called to Putnam County Hospital to assist with removal of a ring. Firefighters arrived at 3:40 and supplied equipment to remove the ring. GFD went back into service at 4:19 p.m.

• At 3:41 p.m. on Wednesday, GFD was requested by the Cloverdale Township Volunteer Fire Department with a rescue at the Cloverdale Travel Plaza. Firefighters arrived with GFD’s aerial truck at 3:55 and lowered an individual who could not get down from the back of a grain trailer. The individual slipped into the trailer but was removed from it before GFD’s arrival. After the individual was checked out by EMS personnel, GFD went back into service at 4:18 p.m.

Additionally, GFD responded for three medical assists during this timeframe.
