S.A. Cosby

The Putnam County Public Library will host programming in conjunction with an upcoming visit to DePauw University by bestselling crime fiction author S.A. Cosby.

Cosby will be a guest speaker at DePauw on March 6 as part of the Kelly Writer Series and will read from one of his acclaimed novels. The event will be held in the Thompson Recital Hall at the Green Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are permitted to use designated campus parking spaces, including faculty/staff, student and visitor areas at the Green Center.

The recipient of two Macavity Awards, Cosby’s The New York Times bestsellers “Razorblade Tears” and “All Sinners Bleed” have been lauded as best books of the year by publications such as NPR, The Washington Post and Time.

As part of their longstanding Adult Book Club at PCPL, participants will choose between reading “Razorblade Tears” or “All Sinners Bleed” and subsequently join the discussion on March 11 at 7:30 p.m.

The Mary Rogers Field and Marion Field-McKenna Distinguished University Professorship of Creative Writing, the James and Marilou Kelly Writers Series and the library have contributed to the organization and realization of this event.
