Peyton Ray Walker

Peyton Ray Walker, 26, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024.

He was born Aug. 23, 1997 in Greencastle, the son of Kyle and Laurie (O’Neal) Walker.

Peyton was a 2016 graduate of Greencastle High School and loved playing football for the Tiger Cubs.

Peyton was a delivery driver and maintenance worker for American Rental.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and great-grandparents.

Peyton is survived by his mother, Laurie (husband James) Allen; grandmother Penny Walker; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be in memory of Peyton to the Greencastle High School football program c/o the athletic department.
