Linda Kay Francis

Linda Kay Francis, 76, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born Jan. 8, 1948 to William and Zella Lytle in Greencastle.

Linda was a graduate of Fillmore High School in 1966. She then married Robert Francis Sr. on March 30, 1968. She worked for DePauw University for 20 years along with her husband. She was a member of the New Hope Fellowship church.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gregory Allen Francis; a sister, Patricia Lytle; and a brother, William Lytle Jr.

Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years; two sons, Robert Francis Jr. of Greencastle, and Daniel Francis (Amanda); nine siblings, Carol Shepard, Nancy Wardlow (Jerry), Philis Gibbons (Robert), Donnie Lytle (Susie), Robert Lytle, Marcia Middleton (Art), Mike Lytle, Debbie Brewster (Larry) and Charles Lytle; three grandchildren, Joseph Adam Francis (Chelsay), Dylan Lee Francis and Crystal Daniel Francis; two great-grandchildren, Oaklynn Francis and Blake Francis; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 18 at the Clinton Falls Cemetery.

Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
