Michael S. McAllister

Michael S. McAllister, 52, of Greencastle, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at his home.

Michael was born Nov. 12, 1971 in Greencastle to the late W. Thomas McAllister and Georgia M. (Nichols) McAllister.

Michael was a 1990 graduate of South Putnam High School and attended Indiana State University.

He worked at IAC in quality control and most recently worked at Banjo Corporation in Crawfordsville.

On Oct. 12, 2019, Michael married Michelle M. Sharp.

Michael enjoyed reading comic books and was a big fan of "Star Trek" and DC Comics movies. He also enjoyed working on his own vehicles. He loved spending time with his family. His grandchildren were everything to him. He was an avid animal lover, too. They had a dog and three cats.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Michelle M. McAllister; daughter Ashley N. Holt (Max); grandchildren Hailey and Emmy Holt; brother Grant McAllister (Kristina); sister Kimberly McAllister; along with several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale. Mr. Bob Vice will be officiating. Burial will follow in Ladoga Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until service time also at the funeral home.
