Bainbridge shortcut to close Monday for bridge replacement

BAINBRIDGE — The replacement of a bridge in Monroe Township will cut off a popular shortcut between Greencastle and Bainbridge for approximately two weeks.

On Monday, the Putnam County Highway Department will close County Road 25 West (Shortcut Road) between U.S. 36 and County Road 500 North to replace a bridge just north of 500 with a culvert.

The structure replacement is anticipated to take two weeks.
