We’ve Got Spirit

School has been out for two weeks in Putnam County, but school spirit remains strong in Greencastle as the Tiger Cub baseball and and boys’ golf teams remain alive in their respective IHSAA tournaments. Signs, both literal and figurative, of the baseball team’s success can be found around town as businesses and residents show their support with the #RoadtotheVic hashtag popping up at various spots as the team looks to make its way through two rounds of semistate on Saturday in hopes of a IHSAA State Finals apperance at Victory Field the following week. Meanwhile, other businesses such as Baxter Appliance Repair have taken to painting their windows with messages of support and even the names of the players.
