Cynthia Snyder Nall

Cynthia Snyder Nall, 62, passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008 at Jewish Hospital.

Cyndie was one of only 87 people who had survived cystic fibrosis to the age of 60, and one of the few who had survived this disease as a double-lung transplant patient. Her positive attitude and fighting spirit defined her. Cyndie was a vibrant woman, a designer, a seamstress, an artist and a successful business woman.

She was a graduate of Florida State University and was retired from American BioSystems, where she dedicated much of her life to helping others with cystic fibrosis.

She was an inspiration to all who knew her, and will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Leon N. Snyder.

She is survived by her loving and committed husband, Dan Nall; her son Michael Baker (Lisa) of Greencastle, two stepsons, Patrick Nall (Amy) and Bruce Nall (Janet), both of Louisville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and two brothers, Percy Snyder (Mary Francis) and Byron Snyder, both of Greencastle.

Visitation will be at Highlands Family Owned Funeral Home at 3331 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, from 4 to 8 pm. Thursday, A celebration of Cyndie's life will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at First Christian Church, Greencastle, with the Rev. Alan Small officiating.
