Reuben Sherod Stwalley

Reuben Sherod Stwalley, 71, Coatesville, died Wednesday at Fillmore.

Born in Gary, he was the son of Reuben S. and Olga E. (Pearson) Stwalley.

He had been a rotary press operator for IBM Corp. in Greencastle, and was a member of the Plainfield Eagles Lodge 3207.

Surviving are his mother, Cloverdale; two sons, Dale Stwalley and wife Sheila, and Gary Stwalley and wife Stephanie, all of Greencastle; sister Velda Mallard and husband Richard, Bloomington; brother David Stwalley and wife Norma, Dillsburg, Pa.; caregiver Linda Cull and husband Dan, Fillmore; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, son Rickey Dean Stwalley, and a grandson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be in Putnamville Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday.
