NPHS senior honored

BAINBRIDGE -- North Putnam High School senior quarterback Brayden Dahlstrom was recently selected to participate in the Indiana High School Athletic Association North-South All-Star Football game.

The game will take place on July 14 at Carmel High School. Dahlstrom will play for the South team.

Dahlstrom is the only quarterback listed on the South roster, which will be coached this season by Warren Central's Steve Tutsie.

North Putnam coach Dave Pasch will also serve as an assistant coach in the game.

Dahlstrom is the only Putnam County player on this year's roster.

He helped guide the Cougars to a 13-1 record, including a trip to the Class 2A semistate, where North Putnam fell to Southridge, 22-7.

The Cougars finished the 2006 season with a 13-1 record and were ranked second heading into the postseason. The semistate appearance was the first for the school in 16 seasons.
