The 11th annual Run 4 Fun motorcycle benefit run will raise money for the Greencastle Fire Department, Greencastle Police Department and Humane Society of Putnam County. Organizers Scott and Lisa Eaton of Greencastle Custom Cycle said this year they wanted a ride that would benefit the entire community. "As much as GFD, GPD and the Humane Society have done for us, it's good to do something for them," Lisa said. The ride is set for Saturday, Sept. 17 with registration at 10 a.m. at Greencastle Custom Cycle, 200 N. Indiana St. The 100- to 125-mile ride will begin at noon. The day will end at Quarry Lake on County Road 825 East, Fillmore, with a bike show, concert and dinner. Cost is $25 per motorcycle and $5 per person for dinner. For more information, call 653-8947.
