The Greencastle boys' seventh grade basketball team picked up a pair of wins over Rockville Tuesday. The A-team (5-4) won 35-30 and the B-team defeated the Rox 30-18. GMS survived 25 turnovers on the night to get the win. Hayden Stuckwisch led the Tiger Cubs with 14 points, while Nate Christy added 10. Mac Shuee recorded eight points, with Logan Pell collecting three in the win...

ROCKVILLE -- The North Putnam wrestling team traveled to Rockville Tuesday, walking away with the win 66-18. Recording first period pins for the Cougars were Madison McClellan at 140, B.J. Brewer at 152, Alex Lance at 171 and Jim Davis at 189. Bren Donaldson at 130, Keegan Foltz at 135 and Josh Keyt at 215 defeated their opponents with second period pins on the evening...

THORNTOWN -- The North Putnam girls' basketball team suffered a tough loss on the road Tuesday night, falling to Western Boone 62-30. In spite of the game's final point spread, Cougar coach Kevin Smith said the game was much closer until late. "The score makes it seem out of hand, but up until the middle of the third quarter, it was a 10-to-12 point game," he said...

To say the Greencastle girls' basketball team struggled against Class 4A powerhouse Mooresville would be an understatement. The Tiger Cubs were unable to convert a field goal in the first quarter and ultimately lost to the Pioneers 63-38 Tuesday. "We didn't come out with a lot of energy I didn't think," GHS coach Glen Hile said after the contest. "Some of the girls, they were having problems breathing, so I don't know if we're getting a sickness or what."...
