Thursday was a typical for me these days. I sleep when I need to, which is a lot, and I work when I can in between.
I did not have time or energy to prepare for the Friday newspaper earlier in the week, as I normally like to do, so I did the whole thing on Thursday. From Vigo County. We recently, on great coincidence, got an app for our work computers called AnyDesk that can let us link our home computers to our work computers. There were some initial problems, such as my work computer going "to sleep" when not being used for a specified amount of time. They shut off that feature, and I was able to connect that day. I did a phone interview with a student while he was at school, and I was able to write that up as well as various other stories on volleyball, football and a roundup including most of the other sports.
I was able to get done before out deadline, which was outstanding. Jared Jernagan was in the office to edit my pages and make sure everything got sent to the press room, but now that I'm more familiar with the program I feel I can do it solo in the future.
I really didn't feel too badly all day, despite being tired. I feel fortunate to this point not to have the breathing problems that others have had, but I know the journey is hardly close to being over. Taking it one day at a time. I am drawing my own conclusions about my opinions on this virus as my experience goes on. I will share those with you in a few days after I have more information.
I probably went to bed about 2:30 a.m.
