GHS falls short in Sullivan Tourney (08/23/09)
SULLIVAN -- The Greencastle High School boys' tennis team lost at the Sullivan Invitational Saturday. Kenny Buchanan split for the day, losing his first match 6-1, 6-0, but coming back and winning his second match in three, 6-3,1-6,10-8. Smith bests stout field at Lincoln Park Speedway (08/23/09)
PUTNAMVILLE -- The pits at Lincoln Park Speedway were full on Saturday night as 110 race cars unloaded for the evening's racing action. There were 36 sprint cars on hand including veteran hotshoe, Jon Stanbrough, who hustled back from a runner-up finish in the Tony Bettenhausen 100 Silver Crown event on the Springfield mile earlier in the afternoon. Shane Hollingsworth also made the trip back to central Indiana for a run at a sprint car feature win at LPS...
