Chester "Chet" L. Beams, 84, Lafayette, died Tuesday at Rosewalk Village. Born in Fincastle, he was the son of Russell and Marry (Alexander) Beams. He married Mildred "Faye" Walter on Oct. 1, 1946 in Ottawa, Kansas, and she survives.
