Gas guzzling sheriff's dept. fuel budget (11/23/12)
High fuel costs continue to plague everyone, and the Putnam County Sheriff's Department is not exempt. Additional gas money was among several issues the Putnam County Council discussed during its Tuesday meeting. I-70 project to close westbound ramp at U.S. 231 on Monday (11/23/12)
CLOVERDALE -- The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced that the resurfacing project on Intestate 70 will close the westbound on-ramp from U.S. 231 at Cloverdale, beginning Monday morning to apply pavement markings on the ramp. Just back from New Jersey, Big Bounce's Choo-Choo made its debut at Robe-Ann Park Wednesday with an all-aboard test run, complete with holiday music. The first 20 feet into the test run, the Choo-Choo was full of children, adults and even teenagers who came running over from the skatepark.
