Putnam County basketball games rarely disappoint. Thursday night’s contest at McAnally Center between the Tiger Cubs and the Clovers was typical of that as Greencastle pulled away late to defeat Cloverdale 42-33 in girls high school basketball. Jerry “Pap” L. Rogers, 69, passed away on Jan. 13, 2021. He was born on March 13, 1951 to Gerald “Jerry” Rogers and Francis JoAnn Deck-Rogers in Indianapolis. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers, Dan, Bill and Jim.
